At the start of the new year, 2026, Mangamo and Kodansha will be making some major adjustments to the catalog of titles available on the Mangamo app that subscription members need to be aware of.

What’s New:
Everything that’s changing, and what these changes mean moving forward.

Currently on the Mangamo App, all available Kodansha titles fall under the following categories:

• Subscription – Kodansha titles that are available with a Mangamo Subscription
• Transactional (Coin Purchase) – Kodansha titles that are available with an in-app coin purchase

Kodansha and Mangamo will be collaboratively changing the subscription / transactional catalog.

In addition, the overall number of Kodansha titles on Mangamo will be changing as well:

• The complete Kodansha catalog – 1,591 volumes across 341 series
• Additions – 843 new volumes across 211 new series
• Removals – 494 volumes across 30 series

A key note to remember is this does not mean content will be removed from the app permanently, just that it will be removed from being included within subscription. Kodansha’s current catalog on the Mangamo App will remain available to readers until December 31st, 2025. Moving into the new year, all changes will be implemented.
